Jaimetud 003: Yume Penguin Monogatari

Penguins, weight loss, apple throwing thugs, pigs in flying airships and pink hippoes that fall from the sky. In this episode, Jaimetud examines a particularly bizarre video game from the NES era. Both enjoyable and irritating, "Yume Penguin Monogatari" was never released in the United States. Why not? Just watch the video and be the judge.

Show and Tell

So you’re all probably wondering what I’ve been up to lately. I’m continuing work on all of my usual projects. The horror short film that I announced in an earlier episode of my show is still in production, along with preproduction work on another script which I myself am writing and directing. This short film will be entitled The Good Sitter, and it will be produced this summer by Sullivision in conjunction with Flyboy Films. The script is still in the works, like I said, but one of the actors for the film may already be cast. Or at least, I have an idea of who I might like to use.

In the meantime, here’s a teaser image for The Good Sitter:

All other details for the plot and characters are to be kept confidential for the time being. That is, unless someone happens to talk to me about the project and I find them friendly enough that I’d let them in on a few details.

In any case, I’m still working out for the horror film and I’m still working on episode three of Jaimetud. This particular episode is turning out to be longer than I thought. When I’m done with it, I’ll be uploading it to Blip TV, which will be the new home from now on for all of my episodes. This episode is going to be a surprise, but other future episodes I will let you in on a few details for. One episode will deal with the messages being promoted in some of my school textbooks, and another will be about a day of power soccer with a certain wheelchair-bound friend of mine.
Other than that, classes at San Francisco State are going well. I’m not getting many jobs in terms of film such as commercial work or music videos, but I’m getting other little jobs here and there. This past weekend, I earned some money babysitting, which is always fun and easy money.

As far as working out goes, I’ve refrained a bit from the pushups and I’m spending time on Wii Sports, which has a boxing game on it that can surprisingly enough can get you sweaty. I have 1500 plus skill points, which makes me well beyond pro level in the game. And this weekend, I spent Saturday with a friend writing the instrumental for a song that we’re making. It sounds awesome and I can’t wait to get my album out there for public consumption. It’s great to be able to work with such talented musicians and filmmakers alike. I may even be spending some time this summer co-writing a musical with a friend. Imagine getting that produced.

Anyhow, time for my workout. Peace out.
