Life’s Not Fair
Watching this video of John Kerry getting heckled by a fellow leftist somewhat made my day (Caution: Video not work safe.)
In a nutshell, this guy seems mad at John Kerry for not being good enough during the 2004 election. He shoots out questions rapid fire with some nasty attitude involved, he stays at the mike for longer than he’s supposed to and he’s surprised that the police are removing him from the building after he’s basically heckled John Kerry. Ok, so that’s cool. They removed him on charges that he was stirring up a riot, and personally I don’t care what he says. You start heckling like that in a crowd to the speaker, you’re going to start a riot if you don’t stop. Plain and simple. On the other hand, TAZERING the guy for doing what he did is a bit on the harsh side, dontcha think?
Now you’ve seen how things are dealt with at that school, let’s see how things are dealt with at my school, the prestigious San Francisco State. Last week, the College Republicans and Democrats hosted an event to commemorate 9/11. Look at who decided to crash the party (Warning: Not Work Safe):
And there were no arrests, no people getting kicked off campus, nothing. Even though the police attend these events, it doesn’t seem like they’re that close in on the action. So basically, you heckle a Democrat at one school, they zap you like you were cancer. You heckle Republicans AND Democrats ten times over at another school, stomp the flag and do everything but attack them, the cops don’t touch you with a ten inch pole. It’s your freedom of speech, maaaan.
9/11 Memorial Uncut
These are some other juicy vids contributed by the folks who attended the event. The bald guy with the speech impediment shouting down the Communist with the glasses on is Nathaniel Jones, a student at SFSU with some mental issues. Listening to him here, he sounds like a radical Republican. One thing you won’t see in these videos is him verbally attacking Leigh, the College Republicans president after telling the Communists that he loved them (I’m a witness.) And he claims to be one of us himself. Shame.
Say, someone get me the number of that cute redhead.
Boy, do I love the altercations at my school.
